Southway Hotel offers a warm welcome to Canadian federal, provincial, territorial and municipal government employees – and military/civilian military Canadian forces — traveling on official business. With 170 contemporary guestrooms and select luxurious suites, our government guests are assured of a good night’s sleep before their important meetings, training or events.
You are also welcome to use these rates for personal use so long as you have your valid government-issued photo identification.

Special Government Rates
Our special government rates for guestrooms are based on established per diems, which can be used any way you want throughout our hotel. With 5,500 square feet of meetings and events space, it’s easy to host a delegation, gather with out-of-town guests, representatives from other countries, or meet with any number of individuals, from 10 to 200.
A valid government-issued photo identification is required and must be presented upon check-in to receive the government rates.
